Dating back to 1860, this spring became a pond following a collapse, and the site of many legends. These selenious waters, of a color as beautiful as it is peculiar, of a lunar blue-green, invite reverie.
Starting point: park at the parking lot at the end of the Chemin d'Orcet, behind the cemetery. Take the path into the forest. Less than 400m further on is the entrance to the path leading down to Puisoir.
The Puisoir d'Orcier is one of 85 geosites listed by the Geoparc Chablais. An interpretation panel explains the geological phenomenon that gave rise to the site and its color.
