On display in the media library’s exhibition hall, the 26 panels created by the France-Argentina Association of Haute-Savoie will introduce you to the fascinating history of Savoyard emigration to Argentina in the 19th century. Driven by poverty, these families from our mountains set out in large numbers on a one-way journey... in search of a better life and to settle the vast expanses of Argentina.
